Daddy and Me Color Block People Line Portrait

PROS - beautiful watercolor print. I asked for the original but seems like their business only does digital. Unsure if a software or even AI helps. EXCELLENT customer service team. Super responsive.

CONS - bad quality frames (broken/uneven corners). Original and replacement were poorly packaged and damaged during shipping/delivery. Also, my frame size/thickness/mat color got discontinued and I received a completely different replacement. Requested a partial refund to move on from this Father’s Day mess. I will buy my own quality frame.

The drawing didn’t match the picture submitted. Asked several times for it to be fixed and none of their “artists” could get it right. Asked for a refund and to cancel the order and was denied.

Disappointed to say the least. I should’ve just trusted my gut feeling once I saw the proofs. These are so obviously AI. When I received each proof back instead of changing one thing, it was a totally new generated image when I asked to speak to someone about it being AI, they tried to reassure me about it without distinctly saying that it is not AI. I thought a hand drawn picture would be such a unique gift, now I just feel like an idiot for spending $60 for a computer to make me a cartoon. Customer service convinced me that it was just because I selected the pencil drawing, and that adding color would fix it all. Did I receive a hand drawn picture that was painted with watercolor? No, I received a printed photo made to look like watercolor was used. Someone I know that is very familiar with tech programs said it really looks like what Adobe software does. I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this instance I feel that it’s necessary. Hoping that whoever reads, this will be smarter than me and not be scammed. Sad that this is the direction small businesses are going.

The idea is cute but honestly the sketch doesn’t really look like my son nor is the quality of the print what I thought it would be for $60+. It was difficult to tell with the proof but now that I have it in hand, it really doesn’t look like him at all. The way the product is worded it sounds like you’re getting an actual hand-drawn sketch, but it’s not.

The print itself looks pixelated like it was done via AI and then printed with low resolution. And to be completely honest my own AI program made a similar sketch in the same style but at a much better likeness without any revisions.

Honestly I don’t plan to give it to my husband for Father’s Day. I’m not sure what to do with it. The materials the print is set in are good but the print itself is not at all as expected. I wish I could return it.
