Bride and Groom Wedding Illustration

When I saw the first proof, I was not satisfied with the result however the team at Letterfest was able to tweak it and made sure I was fully satisfied before sending it back. I would recommend them.

I used the Bride and Groom option to have an illustration of my sister and myself (as it was for 2 people). The final image was lovely, and the communication with Letterfest was great. This is the second time I have used their services and would definitely use again!

I was really excited to receive our hand painted picture of my favourite photo from our wedding last year. It is going to be a Christmas gift for my wife.
When it did arrive I was slightly disappointed. It didn’t make me feel the way I thought it would. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the overall product was very good. The classic white frame was perfect and the colours were good and the drawing was accurately reproduced. Maybe it was too accurate? To me, it looked more like a photoshop filter had been applied, then hand drawn lines applied. I feel awful for saying this because the artist has obviously put work into drawing and painting this.

I came back a week later to it, before writing this review and I’ve since decided it is hand painted, no photoshop, and that I am overall happy with it. Hence the 4 stars. Perhaps I was expecting the illustration to be a little ‘looser’, a little rougher round the edges or more whimsical maybe. It’s hard to describe I guess. Maybe it was a little too perfect.

Anyway, 8 sleeps till Christmas and we’ll find out if my wife likes it. I may update my review then. Thank you 😊
